This Clipwing Privacy Policy explains how Paralect Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, stores, and protects information when you access or use Clipwing.

Clipwing is a video marketplace and workflow platform available at https://auto.clipwing.pro/ and related websites, applications, and services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Services"). Clipwing helps clients submit videos, editors create short-form clips, clients review and approve clips, and approved clips be scheduled or published to connected third-party accounts such as TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and Instagram.

By using Clipwing, creating an account, connecting a third-party account, uploading content, scheduling content, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect information you provide directly, information generated through your use of Clipwing, and information received from connected third-party platforms when you authorize that connection.

Account information:

  • Name, email address, password or authentication method, workspace membership, role, account settings, and support communications.

Client, editor, and workflow information:

  • Tasks, project details, review messages, script selections, clip approvals, schedule choices, connected account selections, and other information needed to run Clipwing workflows.

Content information:

  • Videos, audio, captions, scripts, transcripts, thumbnails, comments, metadata, uploaded files, generated files, and other content you submit, upload, create, approve, or schedule in Clipwing.

Connected account information:

  • When you connect TikTok, YouTube, Google, Facebook, Instagram, or another supported platform, we may collect account identifiers, display names, usernames, profile images, granted permissions, token metadata, connection status, expiration times, and related authorization information.

TikTok information:

  • If you connect TikTok to Clipwing, we may receive and store TikTok account identifiers, TikTok display name, TikTok avatar URL, authorization scopes, access tokens, refresh tokens, token expiration details, selected TikTok account information, publish request identifiers, publish status, captions, visibility settings, and other information TikTok provides through its APIs based on the permissions you approve.

Facebook and Instagram information:

  • If you connect Facebook, we may receive your Meta app-scoped user identifier and managed Facebook Page details. If you connect Instagram, we may receive your Instagram professional account identifier, name, username, profile image, and account type. For either connection, we may store granted permissions, encrypted access tokens, expiration details, publishing quota information, and Reel publishing identifiers, URLs, captions, status, errors, and scheduling metadata.

Device, usage, and log information:

  • IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, actions taken, timestamps, diagnostics, error logs, and approximate location derived from IP address.

Payment information:

  • If you buy a paid plan, payment details are processed by our payment processor. We may receive billing contact details, plan, transaction status, invoices, and limited payment metadata. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

We use information to:

  • Provide, operate, secure, maintain, and improve Clipwing.
  • Create and manage accounts, workspaces, permissions, tasks, clips, reviews, schedules, and connected accounts.
  • Process videos, upload files, generate transcripts, support clip editing, and deliver approved clips.
  • Authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Connect TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, and other supported platforms when you authorize us to do so.
  • Store and refresh authorization tokens needed to provide connected account features.
  • Discover Facebook Pages you manage and connect Instagram professional accounts directly.
  • Schedule, prepare, submit, upload, and monitor clips for TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, or other platform publication when you request it.
  • Show connected account status, publish status, errors, and account-specific workflow information.
  • Respond to support requests and send service-related messages.
  • Analyze performance, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, enforce policies, and comply with legal obligations.

3. TIKTOK CONNECTED ACCOUNT USE

Clipwing uses TikTok information only to provide TikTok features you request.

When you connect TikTok, Clipwing may:

  • Send you through TikTok OAuth authorization.
  • Store TikTok access tokens and refresh tokens securely.
  • Read basic TikTok account information allowed by your approved scopes.
  • Let you select a connected TikTok account for scheduling.
  • Prepare captions, visibility settings, and upload metadata for clips you choose to schedule or publish.
  • Upload approved clips to TikTok through TikTok APIs.
  • Check TikTok publish status and show results inside Clipwing.
  • Mark a TikTok connection expired or disconnected if authorization fails, expires, or is revoked.

Clipwing does not sell TikTok information. Clipwing does not use TikTok information to build profiles unrelated to Clipwing workflows. Clipwing does not publish to TikTok unless you or an authorized workspace user schedules or requests that action through Clipwing.

4. FACEBOOK AND INSTAGRAM CONNECTED ACCOUNT USE

Clipwing uses Facebook and Instagram information only to provide Meta connected-account and publishing features you request.

When you connect Facebook or Instagram, Clipwing may:

  • Send you through Facebook Login for Business for Facebook Pages or Instagram Business Login for Instagram, and store the resulting access token securely.
  • Read the account identity, granted permissions, and publishing information required for the destination you connect.
  • Show eligible Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts in Clipwing account and scheduling interfaces.
  • Let you select a connected account, approved clip, caption, and scheduled publication time.
  • Upload and publish approved clips as Facebook or Instagram Reels through Meta Platform APIs.
  • Read publishing quotas and monitor provider status, identifiers, URLs, and errors so Clipwing can show publication results.
  • Mark a Meta connection expired or disconnected if authorization fails, expires, or is revoked.

Clipwing does not sell Facebook or Instagram information, use it for unrelated advertising profiles, or publish to Facebook or Instagram unless you or an authorized workspace user schedules or requests that action. Publishing to a Facebook Page is public.

5. THIRD-PARTY PLATFORMS AND PROCESSORS

We may share information with service providers and third-party platforms as needed to provide Clipwing, including:

  • Cloud hosting, database, storage, and infrastructure providers.
  • Video processing, transcription, and media delivery providers.
  • Authentication, analytics, monitoring, support, and payment providers.
  • TikTok, YouTube, Google, Meta, Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms you choose to connect or publish to.

When you connect or publish to a third-party platform, information necessary for that action is sent to that platform according to its APIs and the permissions you approved. For Facebook and Instagram features, Clipwing sends video media, captions, Page or Instagram account identifiers, publishing instructions, and status requests to Meta. Third-party use of information is governed by that platform's terms and privacy policy.

6. COOKIES AND ANALYTICS

Clipwing may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, understand usage, monitor performance, and improve the Services.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Clipwing functionality.

7. HOW WE STORE AND PROTECT INFORMATION

We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

No internet or electronic storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. DATA RETENTION

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Clipwing, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, and support legitimate business needs.

Connected account tokens are retained while the connection remains active or as needed to complete scheduled publishing, maintain security and audit records, or comply with legal obligations. If you disconnect or revoke a TikTok, Facebook, Instagram, or other connected account, we stop using that connection for future actions and delete or disable stored tokens and platform-derived connection data according to our retention practices and legal obligations.

User Content, schedules, logs, and account records may remain in backups or audit records for a limited period after deletion or disconnection.

9. YOUR CHOICES, DATA DELETION, AND RIGHTS

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to processing of personal information.

You can:

  • Update account information in Clipwing where available.
  • Disconnect Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or other connected accounts in Clipwing settings where available.
  • Revoke Clipwing access from Facebook's Apps and Websites settings, TikTok, or another third-party platform through that platform's account settings.
  • Request deletion of Meta-derived data by following https://auto.clipwing.pro/legal/data-deletion.
  • Request account deletion, personal information access, correction, or deletion by contacting [email protected].

We may need to verify your identity before responding to a request. We may retain certain information where required or permitted by law.

10. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Clipwing and our service providers may process information in the United States, Germany, and other countries. These countries may have data protection laws different from your country. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

11. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Clipwing is not intended for persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child provided personal information to Clipwing, contact us at [email protected].

12. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
